On mnemonic & nostalgia [for former works]

" Somewhat like a memory leak, a legend will resurface and be retold when needed. The contours and form of appearance may change imperceptibly or drastically through time - depending entirely on the new context in which the legend is told. Lighting conditions may be altered, the scenario apparently changed - but he ethical electrifying layers of its basic substance remain the same throughout time."

Remaining hopelessly provincial, Sam Renseiw - while updating his alter-ego's picture gallery of former works, re-views selected spaces from a long gone exhibition. As all was taking place at the very end of last century, before the web's spread, there is only sparse documentation. Thus: enjoy some rare imagery of Roskilde's Legende III by clicking here or on the links above. (patafilm # 662, 01'04'', 9MB, Quicktime/mov - other versions at Blip.tv)

Very charming--and I loved the picture-gallery of former works.

This kind of nostalgia can be a study, or a philosophy, or, as here, a joy in small moments.
