That is because more material and profound reveries intervene, because our inner being is more deeply engaged, and because our imagination dreams more specifically of creative acts. Then the poetic power, which was imperceptible in a poetry of reflections, appears suddenly. Water becomes matter. And it is then that materialising reverie, uniting dreams of water with less mobile, more sensual reveries, finally builds on water and develops a more profound and intense feeling for it."
