On feeling at home and other triads

" ELLEN is about feeling at home, which is not necessarily where you live. Five cities' individual stories and inhabitants are brought into the performance, presented by three actors; The performance ELLEN is s a meeting between the unknown and the foreign. What is personal, what is universal. The local and the common. (An unusual theatre-experience to be seen and especially heard.)"

Questing the Hotel again, Sam Renseiw indulges in a bout of local Ellen; View the somehow (barking) juxtaposition(s) of oblique, local, foreign and common by clicking here or on the links above. (patafilm # 800, 01'16'', 21,4MB, Quicktime/mov - other versions at Bliptv)

On pleasure of learning & desire of discoveries

click for video: Quicktime / .m4v for iPod/phone / direct streaming for PC

"Voodling is not born from rules, except in some negligible cases; rather it is the rules that derive from voodling. This is why there are many kinds and genres of true rules as there are kinds and genres of true voodlers."

" One can never discover or learn any art unless the pleasure of learning and the desire of discovering really moves" (one), muses Sam Renseiw (paraphrasing, again) while contemplating compilation(s) of some years of perambulations, soon to be laid forth for further public scrutiny. On voodling ontology

click for video: Quicktime / Flash and .v4m versions for Pc at Blip.tv

A voodler - and, I believe, generally all persons - must think that whatever happens to him or her is a resource. All things have been given to us for a purpose, and an artist must feel this more intensely. All that happens to us, all is given to us as raw material, as clay, so that we may shape our art; Voodling is nothing more than a guided dream... Life itself is a quotation."

Continuing his quest for a plausible voodle ontology, Sam Renseiw took a short detour to the north, for a friendly and very inspiring assessment of visual bouts of Body and Space morphologies. View the first voodle of Friday's day-long excursion footage and deja-vu excerpts by clicking here or on the links above. (patafilm # 531, 02'59'' 15.8MB, Quicktime/mov - Flash and MPEG4 versions for Pc at Blip.tv)

Today's Bonus Lumiere video features a straight forward, prosaic night view - just around the corner - of another body/space morphology. (lum # 52, " morphological prospect of body and space" 01'00, 6.2MB, Quicktime/mov) As Always: for other's fine Lumieres, click here.
