On voodle-verite and other interludes

"There are two ways to conceive of the voodle of the real: the first is to pretend that you can present reality to be seen; the second is to pose the problem of reality. In the same way, there were two ways to conceive voodle-vérité. The first was to pretend that you brought truth. The second was to pose the problem of truth."

Further dabbling with voodle definitions, Sam Renseiw indulged in sounding a short visual reveille for the voodle-verite genre. Beautiful. And haunting for sure. Those horses looked so magnificent. Suddenly I was dreaming...

thank you both!

well, that's voodle-verite, or at least, a try at dabbling with the term and the conditions.
re:. the door: it could be a door of perception. it was what i could come up while making the montage of image and sound. pure serendipity, as it was's free download song (!) of the day.

the dreaming part is interesting, as i was just capturing reality. ( it is a small take while walking to the brandenburger tor in berlin, some weeks ago). these guys just happened to be there. an orchestra, i suppose. never asked where they came from, or where they were going.
just passing by, seeing this marvellous scene, camera out, asking the trumpeter if he could make a sound, and then we just walked on....
voodle-verite, i suppose.

in boston, we mostly see horses when the cops ride around on them. since i dont like the pigs, i rarely get a chance to stop and say hello. i worry about their mistreatment. this was so nice and calming :)

thanks b.
regarding horse mounted police in denmark, it would be mostly women in the saddles, actually.
most of them quite attractive, polite and well tempered. (the horses are well bred too) :-)
(must remember to record them, next time i see them)

after seeing such moments captured - how many other moments, potential voodles appear and disappear everyday.

somewhere there is a grove of monkeys waiting...
